I recently visited Turtle Pond Homestay with my family, and it was an amazing experience for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Staying so close to nature, breathing fresh air, and enjoying homely food made it truly refreshing.The huts and cottages are beautifully designed, with rooms that were spotless and well-maintained. The property has plenty of scenic spots that are perfect for peaceful walks or even a great photoshoot. Its proximity to Nagarhole Tiger Reserve is an added bonus for wildlife and nature enthusiasts.The owner was very welcoming—communicating clearly, taking note of our food preferences, and guiding us with directions as well as helpful dos and don’ts for the property.Overall, Turtle Pond Homestay is a perfect getaway for nature lovers, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and memorable stay.
I went to this Home stay with my family and stayed for 3days. One of the best experience we had in this stay .. Location: Completely away from busy roads, traffic hustle.. one will enjoy who is looking for break from busy life. Approach to the Home stay is good when you know the how Coorg is! Food: Tasty healthy delicious food prepared and served hot by Mr Girish and his family. We are vegetarians and got really a tasty food. Perfect timings to serve them hot and fresh. Cleanliness: Rooms are kept clean. You can find small tiny friends from insects family. Kids were thrilled to experience this which they hardly find in city. Loved the birds chirping.. beautiful colourful flowers, quiet pond to spend a romantic time with your partner.. Hospitality: Great Nearby activities/ place to visit: Irupu falls, Dubare, Golden temple, Nagarahole safari, Bhagamandala Bhagandeshwara temple, Talacauvery, Mrityunjaya temple, Tiruvelly Vishnu temple in Wayanad. Safety: Place is safe from animals. Overall would suggest the people to experience this place one who value the nature and admire it and need a break from busy life..
Rooms were very neat. Hot and delicious food was served. Both veg and non veg items were tasty. We stayed in deluxe room, view from the balcony was very nice.
